The Little Mermaid Nails | Disney Nail Art

Hi everyone!

Today I have another Disney nail art design that I’m really excited to share with you all! One of my top requests for these minimalist Disney manis was one inspired by The Little Mermaid. Since this was one of my favorite movies to watch as a kid, and I still love The Little Mermaid to this day, I decided it had to be next in the series!

As I do with all of these designs, I did a nail inspired by each of the main characters and kept everything pretty simple so anyone would be able to recreate it, regardless of skill level. I hope you all like how these turned out as much as I do!

I started off this design by choosing 5 main characters: Sebastian, Prince Eric, Ariel, Flounder, and Ursula. Then I used some of my favorite polishes and acrylic paints to create an image inspired by each! I painted Sebastian’s claw on my pinky, Prince Eric’s iconic white shirt and blue pants outfit on my ring finger, Ariel’s seashell bra and tail on my middle finger, Flounder’s blue stripes on my index finger, and Ursula’s all black ensemble with her shell necklace on my thumb.

I did all of these with one thin nail art brush and a few dotting tools for some of the other details! Overall this design is actually much easier than it looks. I highly recommend giving it a try if you love Disney and The Little Mermaid as much as I do 🙂
