Hi everyone!
Today I have a quick swatch and review for all of you of one of my go-to fall nail polishes.
You guys know I love LVX nail polishes and they recently curated a Fall 2019 Collection from their gorgeous lineup of colors. One of the polishes in the collection is “Bordeaux”, which I’ve had for years now! It’s the perfect autumn maroon and I always find myself reaching for it this time of year.
I’m also super excited to share with you guys that I now have an affiliate code with LVX! If you’d like to use it, you can enter the code ERIN at checkout on shoplvx.com for 15% off your purchase!
I did a #SwatchSunday of this nail polish almost 3 years ago, but I’m breaking it back out again for better photos and because it’s part of this new curated collection. Let’s get into the review!
Here I’m wearing 2 coats with top coat. As you can tell from these pics, this color is so shiny and gorgeous!! One of my favorite things about LVX is their creme nail polishes. Their cremes have an amazing formula and are always super dreamy to apply. 2 smooth coats and I have a perfect manicure! Even without top coat, these polishes are super shiny (but you guys know I never go without top coat! 😛 ) With an added layer of a glossy top coat, the natural shine of the polish just comes out even more.
In brighter natural light, the red tones of this polish really pop out, but it shows up as a much more muted, deep maroon in indoor lighting. Either way, this color is super flattering on everyone and it’s such a great shade for this time of the year!
I hope you guys found this review helpful! You can check out the full curated Fall 2019 Collection here.
