Hi everyone!
Today’s blog post is a swatch and review of the Londontown Modern Opulence Collection. There are 4 polishes to this collection, and Londontown describes them as “daring, empowered and unapologetically lavish”.
I’ve tried a bunch of Londontown nail polishes in the past but this has to be one of my favorite collections of theirs yet!! I absolutely love this color palette. The polishes are all so wearable and classic, and I think there’s something that will flatter everyone. I have photos and individual reviews for all of these shades, so keep on reading if you’re interested!
First up is Honeymoon. Here I’m wearing 2 coats with top coat.
I looove this one. I would describe it as a rosy nude/taupe creme. The formula was a dream: super smooth and creamy. I was so glad that it was still completely opaque in 2 coats for such a light shade. This seems like a nude that will flatter so many skin tones. It will definitely be in my rotation this season!
Next up we have “Crowning Crumpet”, a sheer mauve-y pink. I’m wearing 3 coats with top coat in these photos.
This one could be worn more sheer, but I kind of like the more opaque look with 3 coats. Again, it’s a super flattering shade and feels very elegant. Even though all of these polishes are shiny, I think this was the shiniest of the bunch. I really love and recommend this one, too!
Then we have “Cashmere”, a purple-y, neutral mauve. I’m wearing 2 coats with top coat.
Shades like this have been a longtime favorite for me, especially in the fall. They’re neutral enough that they work on everyone for any occasion, but there is still enough color that it feels fun. This is the perfect amount of purple, and I love how it’s not too dark or too light! Gorgeous color and great formula.
And last we have “Starstruck”, a purple-y silver glitter polish. I’m wearing 2 coats with top coat. When you get up close, you might notice there are still a few parts that need a piece or two more of glitter, but for 2 coats, I’m pretty happy with the build-up of this glitter polish.
At first glance, this glitter polish might just look like a plain silver glitter, but there is a super interesting undertone and color in this polish that I absolutely love! It shows a slight bit of a purple-y blush tone on the glitter and I think it makes this polish so unique. This coloring also makes it match perfectly with any of the other 3 shades in this set! (Did someone say a glitter accent nail?)
One of the best part about these nail polishes is the brush… It is a curved, wide, flat brush and it makes the application so smooth and easy! The right brush can make all the difference with a nail polish and these just work so well for me. These are also so shiny, even without top coat.
If you’re interested in checking out these polishes, you can shop them on the Londontown website.
Thanks for reading! I hope you all enjoyed this swatch & review and found it helpful.
