ColourPop x Disney Midnight Masquerade Nails

Hi everyone!

Today’s nails are inspired by the beautiful packaging on the ColourPop x Disney Midnight Masquerade eyeshadow palette. As you guys probably know by now, I’m a huge Disney fan so I was so excited when I saw that ColourPop was launching this collection (especially everything for Belle, my favorite!!)

I loved the colorful, magical galaxy print on the packaging of the eyeshadow palette so much, I decided I had to recreate the pattern on my nails. And it turned out to be a really fun and pretty easy design!

Keep on reading to hear more about how I did this nail art…

I started off with a deep blue base, and I decided that “Woman” by Lights Lacquer was the perfect shade. Then, I took Essie “Play Date” and Essie “Backseat Besties” to create some blurry stripes of color on each nail using the dry brush method. (If you don’t know what that method is, check out my YouTube tutorial linked at the end of this post.)

From then on, it was just about adding some colorful stars and making then nails really look like a galaxy! I think the pink, green, and blue stars really helped give this look a bit of Disney magic. It would probably look even more fun with some sparkle to it!

Here’s an obligatory shot with the palette:

I think they ended up matching pretty well! Even on its own, this design is a really easy and beginner-friendly take on galaxy nails. Definitely give it a shot if you’re new to nail art and you like the look!

Thank you all for reading! Hope you like how this turned out as much as I do.
